CH/RUCH Keystone's Red Rage (11-16-81) was whelped 2/18/04. Red Rage is an intelligent, class bird dog with an insatiable drive for game who is physically gifted with impeccaple confirmation that makes him powerfully athletic as well as extremely stylish. He is proving the real deal with his pups as he is producing the same qualities. He has produced the 2008 Cover Dog Futurity winner, the 2nd place winner of the 2009 Nat Walking Futurity, the 2009-10 Flanagan Setter Cover Dog Derby of the year, the 2010 Venango Puppy Classic winner, 2010 Blakely Derby Classic winner, 2010 Ruel Henry Pietz Derby Classic Winner, as well as other winners all from bitches of different backgrounds. His pups commonly find, pin and handle grouse before a year of age and tend to do it with a ton of fire! Red Rage himself has championship and classic placements in both wild bird and planted quail trials, and wins in both walking and horseback stakes. He is DNA gold star registered with the Am Field and was x-rayed in Dec. 2006, receiving an OFA 'Good' Rating on his hips. His sire is CH Chip's Torquato and his dam is our 4xCH/2x RU-CH Keystone's Red Ryder. Stud fee $600/$700 shipped. Last of the George's

Not much going on this summer and much too busy doing the wrong things. Here are some pictures of latest pups out of CH Long Gone George ex CH Keystone's Red Ryder that kept us busy doing the right things. About the only significance to these pups at the moment is due to an unexpected passing these are the last pups out of George.

CH Keystone's Red Ryder - 2002 Winner Grand National Grouse Futurity (Michigan), 2003 2nd National Walking SD Futurity (PA), 2004 RU-CH Northern New England Woodcock CH (Maine), 2005 NY Grouse Champion (NY), 2005 National Amt Grouse CH (MN), 2006 US Complete National CH (PA), 2011 Region II Amateur Walking Shooting Dog Champion (on grouse & woodcock in NY), 2011 Region 19 Runner-Up CH (on grouse & woodcock in WI). Lacey has won futurity or championship placements in MN, WI, MI, PA, NY, and Maine. She won the grouse futurity in MI at 15 months of age and her last 2 CHs at 10 1/2 yrs of age while whelping 4 litters of pups in between. Those pups have won CH & Classic placements in WI, MI, OH, NY, RI, & PA and include 3 different National Champions/RU-Nat CHs.
